"This place has that cozy, no fuss charm that makes you feel instantly welcome. The fettuccine boscaiola was especially good, with just the right balance of flavours. "We really enjoyed our evening at BD's. We were aware that the pizza would not be your traditional Italian pizza with a thin crust and limited ingredients, but we had a yearning for Australian-style pizza with a decent crust, pineapple and lots of ingredients, which BD's delivered. It was delicious! Our kids can be hard judges, so it was great to hear them ask if we could get home delivery (back in Sydney), which showed how much they liked the food at BD's."

"Visited here fairly early on a Tuesday evening. Most of the time in Sydney if you visit a restaurant right when they open, they aren't ready. Not here! We were invited in, given a table promptly. Our 2 year daughter was treated just like another member at the table, given a menu, the lot! The food was amazing. Not overly heavy, but with amazing flavour, even my daughter at it up. And the dessert, especially the tiramisu! Wow! Definitely worth a visit when you are in Bowral!"

"Had family lunch here on 3 October 2025 (Friday). Service was quick. Pizzas are good (we ordered three). Pizza price range from $22-27. There is a credit card surcharge, so pay cash if you want to avoid it."

"Food: Have a look at the presentation with the thyme and herbs on top! Say no more. Serving was large, steaming hot, full of flavour, fresh, the mince was cooked down brilliantly. Full of zing. When the food came I got a huge smile. My coffee made me feel like I could do Olympic 100 metres without breaking a sweat. Also I could see the staff bopping around in the kitchen and the kitchen looked very clean. Very good price too. Service: The hostess told us straight away where we should sit, came to take orders as soon as I put my menu down and didn’t muck around. Very quick and decisive. Atmosphere: Clean, warm, well appointed and simple. 100% recommend for lunch. I would also come here for wine and meal Friday or Saturday night. Was getting packed Friday lunchtime."
